Elinor Hasty
Elinor lives in Winder, GA and is a former drama teacher who recently retired after 38 years in teaching. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech and drama from Valdosta State University and a Master of Arts in English from the University of West Georgia. After more than 30 years of directing high school drama, she became involved in WBCT and rediscovered the joys of being on the stage along with working behind the scenes. The experiences at directing adults proved what she already suspected: actors never really grow up -- thank heavens! One of her greatest achievements is the exciting experience of being directed by a former student, Claire Guy, in the WBCT production of "The Curious Savage". She is the mother of three talented sons and the grandmother of three perfect children.
